Delivery times nobody keeps up to date

Every supplier has its own lead time: some brands ship in 24 hours, others take a week, and personalised or limited-edition products go at their own pace. Writing that product by product, combination by combination and in every language is not feasible.

So availability texts stay empty or out of date, and customers do not know when their order will arrive right when they are deciding whether to buy.

One rule per brand, exceptions where needed

You set each delivery time once and the module writes it on every matching product, in every language.
01

Per brand

One rule per brand with its “available now” and “available later” texts. A -OTHERS- rule covers every brand without its own rule.

02

With category exceptions

Within each brand, other texts for the products in some categories: personalised, limited edition, made to order. If several match, priority decides.

03

And products with their own texts

Tick a box on a product page and write its texts by hand: no rule touches them again.

Everything it does, inside

Four parts working together.

Rules

  • One rule per brand with the “available now” and “available later” texts and an optional HTML block.
  • -OTHERS- rule for every brand without its own rule.
  • Enable or disable each rule without deleting it.
  • List with each brand and its exceptions right below.

Category exceptions

  • Other texts for the brand’s products in any of the chosen categories.
  • Only the selected categories count, not their subcategories.
  • An exception always prevails over its brand rule.
  • Manual priority when a product falls in several exceptions of its brand.
  • Deleting or disabling the brand rule deletes or disables its exceptions too.

Products with fixed texts

  • “Fix this product’s texts” checkbox in the Modules tab of the product page.
  • Saved at once, independent of each version’s product form.
  • No rule, -OTHERS- or cron run touches that product or its combinations.

Applying and quality

  • Texts are written when a rule is saved, with “Apply now” or with a protected cron URL.
  • Combinations with their own texts from PrestaShop 8.0; on 1.6 and 1.7, the product’s.
  • Every active language of the store.
  • Full help in the back office; translated into English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German.

What you gain

Correct delivery times across the catalog, with no manual work.

Your whole catalog in a minute

One rule per brand and the texts are written on every product and combination, in every language.

Delivery times that keep up

Change a time in the rule and it is rewritten on all its products; the cron applies it again every night.

Special cases too

Category exceptions cover personalised, made-to-order or limited-edition products without breaking the brand rule.

Full control

Products with fixed texts keep what you write by hand, and each rule can be disabled without losing it.

No theme changes

It writes into PrestaShop’s standard fields, so the texts show wherever your theme already displays them.

What your customers gain

Knowing when their order arrives before they buy.

They know when it arrives

A clear delivery time on the product page before adding to cart.

No surprises

Personalised or limited-edition products show their own delivery time, not the general one.

In their language

Texts show in the language each customer browses in.

Which rule wins for a product?

If the product has fixed texts, none. Otherwise, the exception of its brand with the highest priority among those including one of its categories; if there is none, its brand rule; and if its brand has no rule, -OTHERS-.

What if I edit a product by hand?

The rules write its texts again when a rule is saved or the cron runs. To keep what you write by hand, tick “Fix this product’s texts”.
